Two weeks ago, I went through a battery of tests to see if there was any movement of the cancer. Last Wednesday, I found out that I'm still in remission! That was such a relief and I'll be able to breathe for another six months.
My husband will be going into the hospital the end of the month to have the same kind of operation I had. They are going to take a chunk out of his back and then some of the nodes to see if his melanoma has spread. We need big time prayers for this one. I'm really scared. I had all of you praying for me; his network is not so big. They are also going to have to take a skin graff from someplace on his body because the doctor said that for the tissue they are taking out, there won't be enough skin to re-cover the hole. (I don't even want to think about it.)
My mother had a heart scare last week and they wanted to put her in the hospital right from the family doctor's office and she said no. Then they wanted her to go by ambulance to the cardio doctor. No. She drove herself. That doctor too wanted her in the hospital. No. So they put her one heart medication and she is doing pretty good so far. Home and stable. She
We are sure being hit over this last year and a half with hard stuff. Gettin' pretty darn tired of it.
