The strange thing is that the CT tech saw "something" on my liver and suggested a MRI just in case ... My wonderful doctor (Dr. Kerr) told me not to worry because he thinks that it is just something related to my diabetes. But that we were going to have the scan anyway, to be sure. Fine. That's a plan.
Then in steps the insurance company. Gotta love those guys. They've decided to reject my having the scan (they know more than my doctor don't you know...) and will not cover it. So I'm in the beginning of an insurance nightmare--again. I wish the government and the insurance companies would stay out of the doctor's offices and the patient's care. I know, this is a whole new conversation with at least 10 sides. Still. I have something on my liver. I don't know what it is. I have insurance. But ...
